What is the maximum number of network statements allowed in BGP?

Maximum "network x.x.x.x mask x.x.x.x" statement in BGP is 200. If you have more than 200 networks to advertise you will have to leverage redistribution.
i took a look at this one to see if i could find it and this is what i found in the doccd:

12.0 The limit of 200 network commands per BGP router was removed.

so at that point it doesnt say there is a limit so it would be a matter of memory of the router for bgp and/or total that you could having running and process and then a limit on the actual size of the running-config could limit you also sure you would run out of memory for each route along that point
Well, I read the area of the document that you were referring and I was a little sceptical because the document was referencing IPV6. I decided to lab it up and confirm whether or not there is a limit of 200 networks statements.
Drum roll please..........I was able to get more the 200 network statements so my initial answer to the question only applies to IOS's previous to version 12.0. BTW - I tried to add the configuration but the blog limits comments to 4096 characters.
